When was the last time you heard of an Armenian hotel doing this? Then they say I'm biased!
Monaco Beach Hotel of Turkish Kemer was to accommodate the Moscow youth. But the busses with children and teens were going from one seaside resort to another till 6:00 p.m., as the children were banned from entering the hotel hall. The youngest of them were losing consciousness due to the lack of water.Filthy. Disgusting. Genuinely Turkish.
...another reason of delay was the desire of hotel authorities to get $16,000 compensation for the previous group.

I don't know. It looks like it is the tour company that's at fault here. It doesn't say why the first chartered plane was denied landing. Then it turns out there is no space available in the hotel. And then it turns out the tour company owes money to the hotel.
It's a complete mess and the hotel has a very small part in the ordeal. And that it's Turkish owned has very little to do with it. They, and the tourists, were the victims of an incompetent tour company. After all, the hotel did find cots and a few rooms to house 90 kids.
Your pic looks like the Heydar Aliyev airport in Azerbaijan.
Typically Armenian...blame the Turks for everything lol
Nazarian is right, HOWEVER, very little info is given regarding the arrangement the hotel had with the tour group which I find it incredibly suspicious.
The hotel claims that the group exceeded the number of allowed guests yet houses 90 children with about 6-7 per room. Sooo, that means that the approximate number of guests the hotel would have allowed the tour group to meet maximum vacancy would have been 12-15 kids? Aaand the tour group had 120? I dunno, something is very wrong here and I find it hard to believe the blame falls, in majority, on the tour group. You tell me . . .
Anonymous guy, it's not typically Armenian, you, Turks, just make it so easy. . .cheers!
Oh, and even if they were to put 2-3 kids per room, the tour company still would have exceeded their limit by more than double, almost triple. Very fishy.
childish thing to say.
What a bigoted post.
I agree with shiva. You can't gain respect on your blog, especially if your going to call it "The Armenia Blog" by saying what you say. According to your blog name you are representing an entire country and I suggest you adopt a much more civilized tone or change your blog name to something like "the opinions of ONE armenian." Maybe put a disclaimer saying that your one thought is in no way related to the general opinions of the Armenian race.
I don't know whether you're a Turk or just an uninformed Armenian, but if you have half a brain you will realize that blogs, especially this one, is a mix of facts and opinions. The facts are facts, they speak for themselves, whether you like it or not, and the opinion is mine.
I don't mind people disagreeing with me, which is why I publish every comment, good or bad.
My only beef is people mixing my opinions, which may not reflect that of the majority, with the facts. There's a reason every entry has a link to the source.
Feel free to disagree with me: that's what makes blogs great! :)
No, I'm not a Turk and I'm also not an uninformed Armenian. I don't see how that matters anyway. If it's your opinion it's your opinion I don't really have a problem with that but don't make it seem like you are speaking for everyone: "The Armenia Blog."
Jake, I only speak for myself and the whole point of the blog is to talk about issues that are relevant to today's Armenian.
you guys are totally obsessed! F.ck peace with you, I hope the borders always reamin closed and armenia becomes world`s poorest country with the lowest gpd!
lawl to the turk above, however, we do agree on one thing . . .i hope the borders remain closed too. Cheers to you and your H'ryagan bedfellows
