It turns out there is a community of Armenian musicians who have dedicated themselves to metal. System of a Down by comparison is a New Age act! With names like Medagh, pictured, to Vahagn, these guys are truly re-defining our notions of what Armenian music is in Armenia and elsewhere.

Just looking around I found group called Blood of the New Covenant. Christian Sympho Black Metal . . .leave it to us to give people a way out of pagan metal and take it to our Christian heritage. Check out their song called "Old Cross."

The ads on top of the page are automatically generated by Google to fit the topic of the page. Sometimes they are way off, as you pointed out.
Zhesht.am forums feature quite a few nzi posts. It's sad that the admins tolerate that kind of posts.
