Yet another murder in a backwards society that seems to value the killing of those whose opinions are disagreeable.
The naked body of Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo, 33, known as Pippa Bacca, was found in bushes near the northern city of Gebze on Friday.What is there left to say? Even peace inspires murder in Turkey.
Ms di Marineo was hitch-hiking from Milan to Israel and the Palestinian Territories with a fellow artist on their "Brides on Tour" project.
She had said she wanted to show that she could put her trust in the kindness of local people.

I'm sorry to displease you by writing here. I'm Turkish and i was at the parade to protest her killing, and i cried for hours. But all i can tell you is that, this is not "another example" of murdering those you disagree with. She has been raped and murdered by an asshole, definately not because of her political views. There is nothing to justify this but even her family confessed this could have happenned anywhere and no need to put any blame on the Turkish people. Some rotten apples don't represent the whole. This is just very tragic. But of course, think however you feel like thinking. I just wish you wouldn't be so hostile and prejudiced.
