I don't know if these pictures are meant as a joke or if they're the real deal, but apparently you're looking at Armenian bodyguards or secret service or private security or something!

Now, where can I get that gun?

Serbian Arms Finally Ready for Export!

Whatever objections there may have been, the company is cleared for business:
The day before Serbian Company Zastava got permission to export arms to Armenia, RFE RL reports. Dragolyub Gruevic, the manager of ‘Zastava’ factory in Kragujevac, stated that the cost of deal makes $1.75 million. He also said the company awaits one more permission for a deal of $ 900 000.

It’s worth reminding that Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic roughly criticized the possible deal to sell armaments to Armenia.

It is worth mentioning that officials in Armenia do not confirm Arms deal with Serbia.
I would love to know exactly what models of rifles and other weapons they are purchasing. And unlike the USAid numbers, these aren't available to the public!

Azeris Double Number of Ceasefire Breaches

I'm surprised as to the extent of the ceasefires, which are not merely machine guns going off by mistake or confusion.
Armenian troops have registered this year 581 instances of ceasefire breaches by Azerbaijani troops along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, a significant rise from 273 breaches last year. A spokesman for the Armenian defense ministry Seyran Shahsuvarian said Armenian troops had to retaliate to only 58 breaches. He said this year Azeri troops used large-caliber machine guns and grenade cup dischargers when violating the ceasefire. Three Armenian villages of Voskepar, Aygepar and Chinar, all located in the north western province of Tavush, were shelled by Azeris eight times each.
What do they want from us?

Russia Approves Serbia's Arms Sales to Armenia

First Russia, and now Serbia.
President Boris Tadic said "the issue has been successfully resolved" in his meeting with Russia's ambassador to Belgrade, Aleksander Alexeyev, who has given "a positive response" to Serbia's appeal that the Zastava arms company is allowed to sell guns and rifles worth US$2.55 million (€1.94 million) to Armenia.

Earlier this month Zastava criticised the Serbian government for withholding permission for its previously arranged sale to Armenia, allegedly because Russia — Serbia's traditional ally — objected to the Serbian supplier venturing into a market usually supplied by Moscow.
It's about time Armenia upgraded its weapons. I'd rather they never see much use, but one can never rule out certain possibilities.
